Buckinghamshire Film Office is the first and main point of contact for all productions from feature film and HE-TV to student productions looking to film on location in the county.

Buckinghamshire Film Office together with its partners is here to:

  • Promote Buckinghamshire, its locations and reputation as a film-friendly county
  • Manage all filming on council owned or managed land and property
  • Provide local knowledge to industry to support and facilitate location filming
  • Minimise the impact on residents and business
  • Maximise the economic and social benefits of location filming in Buckinghamshire

From 1st December 2022, Buckinghamshire Film Office will be operating a Film Permit system. This means anyone wishing to film in or around the public highway, footpaths, parks, open space or any council owned or managed property will require a permit or licence to do so.
